Kentucky’s telephone solicitation law

On top of the federal TCPA, Kentucky’s telephone solicitation law (KRS 367.46951 and following) generally:

  • limits solicitations to 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. in the customer’s local time,
  • treats calls to numbers on the Kentucky No Call list (part of the national registry) as state violations,
  • requires telemarketing companies to register with the Attorney General and post a $50,000 bond,
  • bans fictitious names, misleading caller ID and letting the phone ring more than 30 seconds, and
  • bans prerecorded or artificial-voice sales calls without prior express consent.

Calls to Kentucky No Call numbers can bring penalties of up to $5,000 per call. Our team honors opt-outs immediately and respects your CRM’s do-not-contact flags. This is general information, not legal advice. Your dealership’s attorney should review your consent forms and outreach policies.
