English & Spanish

Honduran, Mexican, Cuban and other Spanish-speaking customers served in Spanish.

No Sunday calls

Louisiana bars telephonic solicitations on Sundays and legal holidays, and after 8 p.m. the rest of the week.

State Do Not Call list

The Louisiana Public Service Commission keeps its own Do Not Call list, separate from the federal one.

Louisiana’s Spanish-speaking car buyers

Louisiana’s Spanish-speaking community is centered in the New Orleans metro, where Kenner and Metairie have one of the largest Honduran communities in the country, and in Baton Rouge and Lafayette. Call Contact Confirm works every lead and call in English or Spanish, whichever the customer prefers. See bilingual BDC.

Louisiana’s telephone solicitation rules

On top of the federal TCPA, Louisiana’s Telephone Solicitation Relief Act and Public Service Commission rules generally:

  • limit solicitations to 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Saturday, with none on Sundays or legal holidays,
  • cover voice and data communications, including texts,
  • require annual registration with the Public Service Commission and use of its state Do Not Call list,
  • require the caller’s name, phone number and company at the start of the call and again at the end, and
  • prohibit blocking caller ID.

Penalties can reach $1,500 per violation, or $3,000 when the person called is 65 or older. Our team honors opt-outs immediately and respects your CRM’s do-not-contact flags. This is general information, not legal advice. Your dealership’s attorney should review your consent forms and outreach policies.
