Wyoming’s telephone solicitation law

On top of the federal TCPA, Wyoming’s telephone solicitation law (Wyo. Stat. 40-12-301 and following) generally:

  • limits unsolicited sales calls to 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.,
  • requires the caller’s name, the business, its phone number and address, the sales purpose and the product at the start,
  • requires a notice filing with the Attorney General,
  • restricts autodialed and prerecorded sales calls, and
  • prohibits blocking caller ID.

Penalties run $500 for a first violation, $2,500 for a second and $5,000 for each one after. Our team honors opt-outs immediately and respects your CRM’s do-not-contact flags. This is general information, not legal advice. Your dealership’s attorney should review your consent forms and outreach policies.
