Missouri’s No-Call and telemarketing laws

On top of the federal TCPA, Missouri’s No-Call and telemarketing laws generally:

  • set up a state No-Call list kept by the Attorney General and updated quarterly,
  • cover calls, texts and picture messages,
  • allow sales calls between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. in the customer’s local time,
  • require the caller to promptly give their name, the seller’s name, the purpose and what’s being sold, and
  • prohibit blocking caller ID.

Consumers can sue for up to $5,000 per knowing violation, and the Attorney General can seek penalties too. Our team honors opt-outs immediately and respects your CRM’s do-not-contact flags. This is general information, not legal advice. Your dealership’s attorney should review your consent forms and outreach policies.
